Daily Prompt : Show and Tell

You’ve been asked to do a five-minute presentation to a group of young schoolchildren on the topic of your choice. Describe your presentation.

If i was given a 5 min’s presentation, i would say

“Hello! Five minutes, kids. Okay so kids, I’m going to help you understand yourself 😀 Here’s a piece of paper. Now what i want you to do is to take this piece of paper, and start to write down the things that you like.”

I would have another piece of paper to ask them draw themselves in the picture doing the things that they like to do. “Ok so here’s the challenge, instead of telling me, i want you to show me what you like to do by drawing them!”

After awhile i would able to get some thoughts into their imagination and creativity. (ok my drawing is ‘nice’. hahaha! )

“Now that you’re done, I’d like you to hang the picture or keep it and someday when you are big enough, you can see what was it is like to have fun! ”

Short and simple really, but i think its really beneficial to get schoolchildren’s brain going so that it can help them out with figuring out who they want to be, or any hobbies that they are interested in. There’s so many possibilities in fact when doing this, who knows, you can gather it up make a kid dreams come true.
