Daily Prompt: Key Takeaway

The Daily Post today, asks to give my newer sisters and brothers-in-WordPress one piece of advice based on my experiences blogging, which i find such an interesting topic.

I’ve been blogging for a few years, and I’m glad to share a piece of advice i have find very helpful for me which would be to express things in my own words.

I’ve always had so much different styles of writing, and I’ve tried so much ways of conveying messages across, but I would say that the best expression comes from where we’re most comfortable with. I don’t know really for sure if its for you, but for me, i find that trying to write how i feel at this point of time and being myself , allows me to convey what i want to say without trying to struggle to find things to say.

I understand that as I’m saying this, it might not apply to those who’s trying to find make a professional site, with a notch for trying to attract a certain kind of reader or community. If there was a personal blog, i would say that expression through my own choice of words allows me to  develop my own unique way of blogging, and it seems to create a certain kind of style.

A hot drink by the side at night might help to also take that tension out of the writer’s block.

There you go. 🙂

Middle man is known as the phone.

I have got to learn to blog from my phone. I just realised I’ve been creating these ‘lazy to blog’ thoughts in my mind, like,

‘Oh, you don’t have a laptop cause you’re outside right now, so you can’t blog’ or it’s getting too late, I can’t blog, I’m too lazy to switch on the laptop.

And for that, i’m telling myself,

“Use your phone, and don’t be lazy. At the same time, why don’t you snap a photo every now and then and post it up.”

Daily Question By Thought Questions : Fear of Falling

I think a fear that i know is holding back is still the fear of falling down. I’m still a little bit traumatized over a series of events that has caused me to fall. I’ve dreamed of jumping down from a high story apartment recurring for 5 times in a single night. A few series of falls that I’ve taken into when i was young was on double deck bed and i landed on my head, so now, there’s a patch somewhere in the left corner of my head which is bald. If you’re asking, its not so obvious. haha !

I personally think that this fear actually prevents me from wanting to try daredevil rides, so its always something that is holding me back.
Just to ensure you guys, I’m not afraid of heights* , I just have a fear of falling down.

Of course, I feel that I have to do something about it, fight this fear, and so far, I’ve been taking slow baby steps, and being more confident of myself doing those high rope activities, crossing over, jumping over obstacles like those high elements.
That makes me thinking maybe i should organize i few high elements activities with my friends, to get this fear out of my life !

How about you then ? What is your fear , come and share with me, please don’t be shy ! 🙂 I assure you then I’m not your fear 😛
